 The Dundee trawler DE 20 Queen Alexandra struck a mine and sank 8 miles East by South of Tod Head.

Tuesday 15th June 1915

 The Hull trawler H 923 Argyll was sunk by a mine laid by  UC 11 (Commander:Walter Gottfried Schmidt) 12 miles east Southeast of Harwich. The skipper and crew of six were lost:

Arthur Ernest Soards, 54 Skipper

Albert Aldan, 46, First Engineer

Frederick James Bowles. 35 Able Seaman

John Henry Cowlam, 29, Fireman

Albert Turner, 21, Able Seaman

Arthur Wise, 42, Steward
