 The new Leith trawler Craig Island sailed on her maiden voyage under the command of skipper Thomas Hall of Newhaven. Built by John Cran of Leith she achieved a speed of 11 knots the previous week.

Yarmouth sailing trawler YH 846 Seymolicus mined and sank 12 miles E by N of Smiths Knoll off Norfolk crew of nine lost.

Thursday 19th November 1914

 Lowestoft steam drifter LT 1197  Lord Carnarvon mined and sank off Yarmouth crew of ten lost.

Saturday  21st November  1914

 The sailing trawlers BM 46 Doris May and BM 40  Effort collided during a strong Esterly gale in Torbay doing damage to both.

The Admiralty Trawler Spider was wrecked at Lowestoft.
